Is Fedor useless without the UFC and does he have a true claim on best p4p fighter status?

I know this isn't popular, but I don't see how Fedor can claim best heavy weight or best p4p fighter without dominating in the UFC. Until he comes to the UFC, I don't see what the point is to him fighting.

I love watching him fight, and he is definitely bad ass, but how can you claim your the best, when your last to opponents were Tim Silvia, who got knocked out by 100 year old Ray Mercer in 8 second and Andre Arlovski, who got knocked out in short order by a fairly new fighter Brett Rodgers?

When it comes to best P4P status, I don't think he can compare with Anderson Silva. Neither can GSP. Silva is dominating in 2 weight classes, and I wouldn't be surprised if he could take on most of the heavy weights, maybe even Fedor himself.

GSP is dominating at his weight class, and unlike Fedor, can truly claim he is the best 170 pounder in the world. I don't believe he is best P4P simply because he has not finished fights like Silva has, and he hasn't jumped weight classes and dominated as Anderson has.

Now I wanted to make sure I pissed off as many people as possible, so I touched on three very popular fighters. What say you? If you came here to view this, don't be a lazy sumbitch. Sign up and respond.

I agree on most of what you are saying. I think if Fedor was truly wanting to be the best p4p fighter in the world, he would have no other option than to beat the best the UFC has to offer.

I personally think he wants nothing to do with fighting Lesnar. One, because I think if he lost he would lose his invincible status and also he probably thinks Lesnar is some kind of lesser fighter because he was in WWE.
